Clockworks are mechanized entities created primarily by the Human and Dwarven races to complete various tasks. The first Clockworks, built in 4072, were used by Humans to accomplish task considered too dangerous or risky for Humans to personally engage in. Later, in 4093, Clockworks were put into combat roles in the Human-Elven conflict, and to great effect. The normally overpowering Elven Druids had little to no powers over the artificial warriors, and the Elven armies withdrew within the year. However, since the Geppito incident, all known Human Clockworks have been dismantled and banned from production. The Dwarves still use low-grade Clockworks for menial tasks.
